Celebrating the Centennial in Style

On the evening of Saturday, March 2, 2024, more than 400 Out-of-Door families, alumni, and supporters enjoyed champagne and hors d’oeuvres as they entered the reception hall at Banyan Ball Extravaganza hosted at The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota. Guests were welcomed by eight-foot topiary walls decorated with vintage photographs from ODA’s past, an homage to the night’s theme, "Tradition Never Graduates." Each historic photo captured moments from our school’s 100-year history. 

 

When the doors to the grand ballroom opened, a scene of massive trees, lush greenery, and thousands of twinkling lights greeted attendees. With the band in full swing, guests were immediately drawn to the dance floor to kick off the evening’s program.

 

Throughout the evening, attendees enjoyed delectable food, an exhilarating live auction and paddle raise, a memorable video documentary, and fantastic live music.
