Tuition & Affordability

An Out-of-Door education is an investment in your child’s academic, artistic, athletic, and personal growth.

Tuition & Fees: 2025-26

At The Out-of-Door Academy, we are guided by a clear mission and the vision established by our founders when our school was founded in 1924. We proudly uphold the core values of Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence, and Responsibility, delivering an exceptional independent school education. As a privately funded institution, we do not accept state or federal funding or participate in Florida scholarship programs, including the Family Empowerment Scholarship. However, we are committed to supporting our community by offering need-based financial assistance to qualifying families.

Financial Assistance

We are committed to making an Out-of-Door education as financially accessible as possible. The School annually distributes approximately $2 million dollars in need-based financial assistance awards to help bridge the gap between the cost of an Out-of-Door education and what a family can afford to pay. More than 18% of our students are recipients of these need-based funds.

  • Our financial assistance begins at Kindergarten.
  • Many of our financial assistance awards cover 50% or less of tuition.
  • Financial assistance awards are granted on a yearly basis. Renewals are based upon continued demonstrated need through an annual application process.
  • Financial assistance decisions are made independently of admissions decisions and do not impact a candidate’s admission.
  • We do not offer athletic, academic, or art/music scholarships.
  • We do not participate in Family Empowerment, Gardiner, Hope, McKay, or Step Up scholarship programs.
