Upper School

Our prestigious Upper School program prepares students for highly selective collegiate admission and their future careers. Rigorous college preparatory, honors, and Advanced Placement courses teach students to think creatively, collaboratively, and critically.  Customized curriculum and innovative technology allow teachers to choose the methods that best suit the needs of today’s learners as they prepare for their future in our ever-changing society.
At ODA, students learn by doing. Leaders naturally emerge on athletic fields and in classrooms, but our students take it a step further, initiating activities and programs that benefit our local Sarasota community. Students mentor their peers and collaborate on projects that have a real impact on the lives of others. Our core values of respect, integrity, service, excellence, and responsibility are woven into everyday learning in the Upper School, where these traits are both modeled and expected.
