Camp Banyan is one of our most popular day camps and is held on our Historic Siesta Key Campus. Each fun-filled, themed week offers a brand new experience full of exciting activities  that may include beach days, off-campus field trips, and special themed activities. Our time on campus is spent experiencing a wide variety of activities which may include water days, super cool arts and crafts, cooking, hands-on science, outside sports and games, team building, drama, leadership building activities, and more! All campers must be toilet-trained and be able to use the toilet facilities independently. All activities and field trips are subject to change. A weekly email with specific details will be sent prior to the start of each week. Enjoy Kona Ice each week!

Lunch options will include either the hot meal choice or a pasta option each day. Pre-made sandwiches and salads will be available as an alternative. If your child has food allergies, please include these on your registration form and also contact Campus Dining Director Robin Frechette to discuss meal options. Please address all questions about the lunch program to Robin Frechette, or call (941) 554-5995.

We suggest registering early to reserve your spot - your kids are sure to love it and space is limited!

Extended Care is available for Camp Banyan at a rate of $65 per week from 8:00-9:00 am and 3:00-5:00 pm. Prompt pick-up is expected. Please note: there will be a late fee added for late pick-ups of $20 for the first quarter hour and $1 for each additional minute. There is no drop-in care available. Week 1: June 9-13 - Passport Around the World
Embark on an exciting global adventure without leaving town! During Passport Around the World each day campers will "travel" to new countries, receiving a stamp in their personalized passport as they discover traditions, languages, and landmarks. They’ll create cultural crafts, taste authentic snacks, and play traditional games. From dancing the Tango and eating alfajores in Argentina, to Bollywood dancing in India, and learning basic phrases in French, campers will gain a deeper appreciation of the world’s diversity in a fun and engaging way. We'll also tour the historic Edson Keith Estate at Philippi Park and explore the Bishop Museum, including a visit to the planetarium. Join us for a week full of adventure, discovery, and global connections at Passport Around the World!

Week 2: June 16-20 - Game On!
Get ready to play, create, and explore at Game On!, an action-packed week where games take center stage! Each day, campers will dive into different types of games, from exciting tabletop challenges to high-energy active games, brain-teasing puzzles, and even inventing their own original games. In addition to gameplay, campers will enjoy themed crafts and fun and tasty game-inspired snacks. Whether strategizing in a board game tournament, racing through obstacle courses, or designing their own card game, every camper will find something to love. We'll be taking the games off campus to the Bayfront parks, and then go bowling for strikes. With teamwork, creativity, and plenty of friendly competition, Game On! is where play and imagination know no limits!

You can also challenge your fellow campers to kids’ movie trivia, win prizes in a game of Red-Carpet BINGO, and race your way through a popcorn relay. But that’s not all— you’ll learn about animal actors and movie stunts, taste a variety of popcorn recipes, take home your very own autograph books, and more! We will have fun clowning around by making our own cotton candy, learning to juggle and hula hoop, face painting, carnival games, and so much more! No circus-themed week would be complete without a visit to Sarasota’s famous Ringling Circus Museum, where we’ll explore the wonders of the Big Top. Plus, we’ll clown around as we enjoy a morning of fun at the circus-themed Payne Park Playground and visit Big Cat Habitat. Join us for an action-packed week of laughter, adventure, and circus magic!
