Presented by David Hirschfeld with Bits, Bytes & Bots
Location: Uihlein Campus in Lakewood Ranch
Want to learn coding? Like to play Minecraft? You can do both in this fun camp. Campers will use the Minecraft Education app as a learning tool while developing competencies including coding, collaboration, communication, critical thinking and creativity. Campers will use a camp provided tablet to program using Microsoft’s Make Code. They will be able to automate tasks and to create custom blocks, items, tools and even their own characters! Each session will also allow free time for campers to work on building their own world or joining a world with other campers. No experience is necessary.
