This program is designed to provide an opportunity for Upper School students to develop job skills and the opportunity to earn volunteer hours. Our Counselors in Training (CITs) will assist our counselors with all the day-to-day camp activities at Thunder Sports Camp. This may include assisting with set-up and break-down of sports games, assisting head counselors with sports games with children, and helping at pick-up and dismissal. Our CITs must commit to the entire week and uphold our expectations of professionalism in order to participate. All CITs will be expected to complete the entire week in order to earn volunteer hours. CIT’s will be under the direct supervision of the Thunder Sports Camp Director. We have a limited number of spots available for each week and these are on a first-come basis. CITs can remain for Extended Care until 5:00 pm to help if they would like to earn extra hours.
