Out-of-Door Fall Athletes Charge into State Championships!
This fall season marks a historic milestone for our athletics program, as we cheer on several varsity teams competing in State Championship pursuits.
Varsity Girls Golf
Congratulations to Brooklyn Cullen ’28 who represented our Thunder Girls Golf Team at the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) 1A State Golf Championship. We are so proud of her season-long efforts to prove herself as one of Florida’s top young female golfers!

Varsity Cross Country
The Thunder Boys Varsity Cross Country Team will bring a powerhouse lineup to the FHSAA 1A Boys State Championship in Tallahassee on November 16. State qualifiers include Andrew Basler ’27, Tom Bergerat ’27, Collin Dillingham ’25, Avery Fulk ’26, Kevin Gyurka ’26, Themba Hillary ’28, Isidro Iturralde Ospina ’25, Kenji Katz ’26, Sequoia Miller ’25, Cash Murphy ’27, Julian Nguyen ’27, Shaan Pandya ’30, Finn Randall ’29, and Jakub Zukiewicz ’29.

For the first time in ODA history, our Thunder Girls Swim Team earned the title of Regional Champion! We couldn’t be prouder of our swimmers and the outstanding performances and dedication that led to this incredible achievement.

Representatives from both the boys and girls swim teams will compete in Ocala at the FHSAA 1A State Championships on November 15, following a season filled with standout performances. Representing Out-of-Door are Ronan Murphy ’25, Zoe Gruber ’27, Arabella Newport Derbyshire ’27, Helaina Gunn ’29, Celia Rayman ’25, Bertie Bryson ’28, Carmen Bunt ’26, and Georgia Henry ’29.
