The Taylor Emmons Scholarship
Honoring a Legacy. Transforming a Future. One Student at a Time.
In honor of Taylor Emmons ’09, The Out-of-Door Academy—together with the Emmons family—established The Taylor Emmons Scholarship Fund to celebrate Taylor’s selfless spirit, compassion for others, and deep love for his alma mater. This fund ensures that Taylor’s legacy will continue to inspire future generations.
Each year, the scholarship provides financial assistance to a deserving student who seeks the transformative experience of a college-preparatory education but lacks the means to attend. The scholarship supports socio-economically diverse students and is awarded to an incoming 9th grader who demonstrates exceptional character, as well as strong academic, artistic, and athletic commitment.
The Taylor Emmons Scholarship covers up to the full cost of tuition for four years at The Out-of-Door Academy. Families are responsible for comprehensive fees. To be considered, applicants must complete the school’s Admissions Application and be accepted for enrollment.
If you are interested in applying for the Taylor Emmons Scholarship, please contact the Admissions Office at (941) 554-5955 or [email protected].
